Both Global Travel Group and Worldchoice Plus share core services as membership options under The Travel Network Group, however they also offer unique advantages tailored to different types of travel businesses. Here’s a breakdown of the key differences:
Brand Identity
- New travel businesses can opt to use either the Global Travel Group brand or the Worldchoice brand respectively. Each offering members the option to leverage a trusted name in the travel industry, creating confidence among customers and suppliers.
ATOL Licensing
- Global Travel Group – Group ATOL Licence: Members of Global Travel Group operate under a group ATOL licence, managed by the group itself. This removes the need for individual ATOL application and administration, providing convenience and assurance that the licensing requirements are professionally managed. This is suitable for a small amount of dynamic packaging.
- Worldchoice Plus – Individual T-ATOL Licence: Worldchoice Plus members can apply for their own T-ATOL licence, giving them more direct control over their licensing. With an individual T-ATOL, agencies have flexibility in how they structure their operations while still maintaining ATOL protection for clients. This is more beneficial for businesses who are looking to increase the scale of their dynamic packaging.
